The Subtle Art of the Scarf

The Subtle Art of the Scarf

Scarves often get overlooked once we remove our winter layers.  At this time it can be a hodgepodge of whatever is leftover from winter that have not bored you to tears.

Underestimate at your peril.  Scarves can add colour, personality and just the right amount of glamour to your look.  I love drama in my clothes not my life.   Scarves make a fabulous transition if you are not ready to commit to a summery print or colour in a dress.  There are so many options to choose from.   Perhaps you crave a designer label - a Hermes bag out of reach?  Why not opt for a vintage Hermes scarf.  I use this as an example it does not have to be Hermes or designer.  There are so many small niche brands who do scarves.   eluroom has it's own collection of scarves.  Made from the remnants of the dresses.  Boho edging is back and a scarf is an easy way to introduce this to your usual day to day look.  Made from silk the eluroom pieces have fringing and tassels which speak to this look.  Perhaps you have what I call a 'wardrobe lurker'. something you have put aside from maybe a special occasion, a holiday now is the time to revisit and fall back in love with it.
